This is hilarious:

U.S. and Iraqi military officials scrambling to deflect criticism of a wall being erected to separate a volatile Sunni Muslim neighborhood from surrounding Shiite areas insisted Monday that the structure is not a wall at all. It's a barrier.

The alleged "barrier" is twelve feet tall, runs three miles, has one entry/exit point and is contructed with one ton concrete blocks.

If it weren't all so tragic it would make a great comedic film. In fact, I can't wait for the serio-comic film to come out of this era.
